This So Far On April 15, 2022April 14, 2022 By Moments with MillieIn Poetry Four seasons have come and goneWith the breakingAs stumps are left in the distanceResembling you and me.It’s the end of winterAnd the spring is fillingWith rebirth all over.A part of me knewThis wasn’t us,But I couldn’tAccept the changes.I needed to mend my life,Search for my sum,And allow seasons to come naturally. This much so far is meUntouched but recreatedThrough the passagesOf time here. You won’t be celebrating meBut I toast to the newDivine feminine awakened. You must know this so far,Even contemplateThe answers to all those questionsWe ponderedWith long conversationsThroughout heated nights.I didn’t fit in your world. This so far is mineAnd I will never be back to youAs the woman I wasWhen I left.
