For over 25 years I have a morning ritual: I pick a few cards from oracle decks. My favorites are angels, fairies, and universe cards. I also choose decks because of the incredible art work like the Work Your Light by Rebecca Campbell. I have so many decks collected throughout decades. I let my guidance speak to me through them. I say my prayers, meditate, and, in silence, wait for peace and divine wisdom. That doesn’t always appear. And, to be honest, not all days are inspiring. I often feel that there are seasons for our beliefs. Some seasons are strong and powerful, expressing and manifesting. Other seasons are growing ones full of lessons, struggles and challenges. This human experience is so multifaceted!
Today I picked this card: Yes!
I have been spending my time lately saying, “no,” because I am closing a lot of chapters. I am standing up for what I believe in. I am moving through the no’s into the light of yeses.
We get to interpret the messages however they fit into our lives. Stepping into your divine light is not a one-size-fits-all. Every walk is unique and different. They are all exquisitely designed like your personal fingerprints.
Gratitude is the key to staying present and acknowledging what we desire. I always say “thank you!” after I’ve pulled the cards. Okay, sometimes I don’t like the card and I will shuffle them to get another. It’s not cheating… I like to have options.
The “Yes” card was perfect for this morning. I needed the reminder that in spite of all the No’s I have been dealing with, I can choose to move through them by saying yes to myself. We need the yeses to offset the no’s.
Your guidance doesn’t just come in deck of cards. Reading scripture, listening to music, walking, or speaking with a dear friend also bring profound answers. Whatever tool you use to check in with your higher self and Spirit is personal to you. They are all parts of feeling connected to something. That’s why we have rituals and spiritual routines. Faith doesn’t have cards or candles. It’s an inside job. It just helps to sit and focus on something daily to bring in those desires and dreams to light. This is all part of your sacred journey!
I love you,
Millie
