Don’t Dull Your Sparkle

Every once in a while I get hate mail. I start off reading the first sentence and the moment I notice it is going to be toxic I delete it. Any time I get anything that brings my vibration down I disregard it. I won’t entertain it because my happy place will not get bulldozed by someone else’s crap.
It’s that simple.

You do not have to entertain every post, email, messages or phone calls that come your way. You can turn off the news, unfriend or unfollow nasty folks, and firmly establish your right to stay in joy. It’s not always easy but it’s necessary. I refuse to allow someone to belittle me. Those days are over.

I am learning that what others think of me isn’t my business. I will never make everyone like me or accept me. And that’s okay. I’m not here to create havoc or mayhem in this world. I am here passing through with laughter and love. It’s not for everyone to understand my idiosyncratic ways. It’s my way of riding on the unicorn into the sunset through a magical forest.

Be grateful for your ability to do good in this world. All others aren’t your responsibility. If you cannot change it, leave it. If you cannot adjust it, abandon it. If you cannot be your authentic self, stop all bullshit and start honoring you.

Sometimes it isn’t about you but more about the lessons on setting important boundaries.
